Mariya Vladimirovna Putina is a Russian medical professional who is best known as being the daughter of Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia.

As of March 2019, the net worth of Mariya is estimated to be $3.5 million. She may inherit some part of her father’s wealth whose net worth is rumored to be around $70 billion.

Early Life and Education

Putina was born in Leningrad, USSR on April 28, 1985, to Vladimir Putin and Lyudmila Shkrebneva, a former flight attendant. Mariya has a sister Katerina (or Yekaterina). Mariya’s parents divorced in 2013. As per rumors, her mother remarried in 2016; her new husband is Arthur Ocheretny, a businessman who is 21 years younger than her.

As per some reports, Mariya attended a German language school in Moscow Russia since 1996. After Putin became the acting President, both daughters were home schooled. As per other reports, Mariya took up biology in college after her education in the German school. She then studied medicine from 2006 to 2011 from the Moscow State University of Fundamental Medicine. In both the cases, she got her education under a false identity. It is also rumored that Mariya has joined a Health Ministry research center for a Ph.D. program. As per reports, Putina is married to Dutchman Jorrit Faassen. From 2007, Faassen held executive level posts in Gazprom, the state gas company of Russia. He has allegedly resigned from the company and now works as a vice-chairman of the board of directors for MEF Audit, a consulting firm.

The couple resides in Moscow. They also have a penthouse in Voorschoten, South Holland.

During an interview with Oliver Stone, Vladimir Putin stated that he had become a grandfather. This indicates that Mariya and Jorrit became parents. As per reports, the couple became parents in 2017.
