Lena the Plug (birth name Lena Nersesian) was born to Armenian parents on 1st July 1991, in Glendale, California, US. She had a conservative Christian upbringing.
After finishing school in 2009, Lena joined the University of California in Santa Cruz and eventually graduated in 2013 with a bachelor’s in Psychology. During her term at the University, she spent 1 year at Sweden’s Lund University as an exchange student.
After graduating from college, she had the opportunity to pursue a Masters program at the University of Southern California. But she did not enroll as she could afford the high tuition fees.
