Park Hae-Soo is a noted South Korean actor known internationally for his role as Cho Sang-woo in the popular Netflix show ‘Squid Game’. He was born in Suwon, South Korea in November 21, 1981.

Park Hae-soo – career rise

He debuted with the musical show ‘Mister Lobby’ in 2007. He has acted also in musical shows like ‘Annapurna’ and ‘Angel Called Desire’. He has worked in movies like Pirates, Minority Opinion, Master  and quite a few TV shows. In fact, in 2017, Park Hae-soo won the Best New Actor award at the Seoul Awards for his role in the TV drama ‘Prison Playbook.”

He is seen in the South Korean film ‘Yacha’, a horror movie ‘Ghost’, a movie called ‘Suriname’ and a South Korean adaptation of the popular Netflix show ‘Money Heist’.

He helped me improvise and due to his inputs, our combined scene turned out to be really good. Park Hae Soo can transform a scene into with his very presence. The reason why Ali and Sang Woo’s bond looks so good is because of the way he is.  Park and I were able to have a good relationship even off the sets because of his nice nature.”

On January 14, 2019, Park wed his girlfriend in 2019 in Seoul. On September 29, 2021 it was announced that his wife gave birth to a son.
