Kristen Mary “Kris” Jenner, born Kristen Mary Houghton, formerly known as Kris Kardashian is a renowned American television personality and producer who came to prominence after starring in her family’s reality show ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ that airs of the E! Network. Jenner is recognized in the media as the mother of reality TV stars and socialites, the Kardashian and Jenner sisters, whom she manages and is therefore labelled as their “momager”.
Jenner, who was always a stay at home mom, first came to media attention when her then husband, Robert Kardashian was part of the “Dream team” that defended football player O.J. Early life and Education
Jenner was born on 5 November 1955 in San Diego, California to engineer Robert Houghton and his wife Mary Jo Shannon née Campbell, a homemaker. She has one sibling, a younger sister named Karen. Jenner’s parents divorced when she was 7 years old and the sisters were raised by their mother. Her mother remarried Harry Shannon, a businessman and the family moved to Oxnard temporarily.
After Jenner’s step-father made some changes in his business, the family shifted base back to San Diego where Jenner attended and graduated from Clairemont High School in the year 1973. Three years after graduating, in 1976, Jenner started a career as a flight attendant but served in the position for only one year.

Jenner owns and runs a production company called Jenner Communications in Los Angeles, California. Her main career is that of being the manager of her children and has managed her daughter Kim’s career since she came into prominence. Jenner partnered with her eldest daughter Kourtney to open a children’s boutique named “Smooch” in 2004 but shut shop in 2009. In 2007, Jenner pitched the idea of a family reality show, featuring her entire family. The show continues to be one of the most watched reality TV shows in USA, airing on E! and has been on air for 13 seasons, excluding its several spin-offs. Jenner has been married twice. She was first married to attorney Robert Kardashian, legal representative of football player O.J. Simpson.
The couple married in 1978 and has four children together; daughters Kourtney, Kimberly and Khloe and a son named Robert Kardashian Jr. The couple divorced in March 1991. They continued to remain friends until Kardashian Sr. passed away in 2003 after battling esophageal cancer. While she was still married to Kardashian, Jenner had an affair with Todd Waterman, animator and soccer player and confessed about it in her autobiography.
Within a month of her divorce from Kardashian, Jenner tied the knot with retired Olympian Bruce Jenner in April 1991. Together they had two daughters; Kendall and Kylie. Jenner also became step-mother to Jenner’s children from 2 previous marriages; Burt and Cassandra, and Brandon and Brody. With a Business Administration degree from Atlanta, he is known to be an ace in film production and entertainment marketing.
