Shloka Russell Mehta is an Indian social worker and businesswoman. She is the Managing Director of the Indian subsidiary of diamond company Rosy Blue. Her father Russell Mehta is the CEO of the family owned company.
Mehta got engaged to Akash Ambani on 24th March 2018 in Goa, India. Akash is the son of business magnate Mukesh Ambani, the richest man in India.

Childhood and Education
Shloka Mehta was born on July 11, 1990 in Mumbai. She has an elder sister Diya Mehta and an older brother Viraj Mehta. Both are married into prominent Indian business families.
Mehta did her schooling at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai. She was a good student and did extremely well in her studies. She completed her college graduation from Princeton University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. She later got her Masters degree in Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Career
Mehta joined her father’s diamond firm in 2014 after completing her studies. She became the Managing Director of Rosy Blue India in 2014.
Mehta is also a co-founder of a company called ConnectFor. It helps connect varied NGOs with different kinds of assistance such as offering volunteer donations and volunteer manpower, etc.

- Akash Ambani also did his schooling at Dhirubhai Ambani International School. This is where he and Shloka became friends.
- On 24th March, 2018, Mehta and Ambani exchanged rings and got engaged in the presence of family and close friends in a small ceremony in Goa. They later held an engagement bash two days later in Mumbai. It was attended by the rich, the powerful, and the famous. The wedding of Shloka and Akash is reported to take place in December 2018.
- Russell Mehta as well as his uncle Dilip Mehta show up in the Panama Papers and in the Paradise papers. In fact, their names appear in almost all black-money lists received by the government of India as well as in the cases investigated by journalists. The names were also there in the Appleby records.
- The mother of Shloka, Mona Mehta, is related to PNB loan defaulter and fugitive Nirav Modi. As the MD of Rosy Blue India, Shloka issued a statement which stated that the credit history of the company is clean.
