Early life and background
Rania Al-Yaseen was born on 31st August in the year 1970 in Kuwait, to Ilham Yassin and Faisal Sedki al-Yassin. She received her high school education from the New English School in Jabriya, Kuwait. After that, she joined the American University in Cairo in order to acquire a degree in Business Administration. She completed her graduation in the year 1991. She served briefly as a marketing executive in Citibank. After that, she worked with Apple Inc. in Amman.

Apart from the educational zone, Queen Rania has also contributed largely to the sector of community empowerment. Her first undertaking was the formation of the Jordan River Foundation in the year 1995.
