Patrick Johannes Adams is a famous Canadian television and film actor and director who is best known for his portrayal of the talented college droupout turned brilliant unlicensed lawyer Mike Ross in the USA Network hit television series ‘Suits’ which started airing in June 2011. The show has completed 7 seasons till date, with Adams’ character as a co-lead. Since appearing on suits, Adams has featured on other TV shows such as ‘Luck’, ‘Rosemary’s Baby’, ‘Orphan Black’, ‘Talking Marriage with Ryan Bailey’ and ‘Legends of Tomorrow’.

Early Life and Education
Adams was born on 27 August 1981 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada as the only child of his parents. He is the son of Claude Adams, a journalist and his homemaker wife and was raised in his birth city of Toronto. He moved to Los Angeles, California, at age 19, following his parents’ divorce.
Adams completed his primary education form Toronto and later studied at the Northern Secondary School, Toronto. In his own words, he wasn’t bright at school so it took him time to understand that he needed to attend school to learn acting. He enrolled at the University of Southern California, from where he earned his Bachelors in Fine Arts degree where he won the Jack Nicholson Award Scholarship.
Career Rise
Adams made his acting debut with the short film ‘For the Record’ in 2001 and appeared for the first time on the silver screen in the 2002 film ‘Old School’. His television debut happened in 2004 with an episodic appearance on the show ‘Jack and Bobby’. Adams met Pretty Little Liars actress Troian Bellisario on the sets of the play Equivocation in 2009 and soon started dating her. The couple broke up for a while but reunited after Adams made a guest appearance on her show in 2010. The couple announced their engagement in February 2014, after 5 years of courtship and tied the knot in California, in December 2016.
Adams is an Honorary Life Member of the UCD Law Society, which was awarded to him in September 2013. An avid photographer, Adams owns more than 25 cameras and is also an expert guitar player.
