  1. Moulay Ismail Ben Sharif, Monarch of Morocco

Ismail Ben Sharif was the 2nd ruler of the Alaouite dynasty and the Sultan of Morocco from 1672 till his death in 1727. His rule of 55 years is the longest for any monarch of Morocco. He kept a harem with over 499 women and had registered fathering 342 girls and 525 boys, for a total of 867 kids. When he was alive, it was locally noted that he had fathered 1042 kids, and after he died, the observation was corrected to 1171 children.

2. Bertold P. Wiesner

He was a scientist married to physician Dr. Mary Barton. She was his second wife. From the 1940s till 1967, he may have fathered 300 to a maximum of 1000 children via artificial insemination program run at his wife’s clinic. In addition, he had 2 kids with Mary and 1 daughter with his first wife.

3.Augustus II the Strong (12 May 1670 birth – 1 February 1733 death)

Also known as Frederick Augustus I in Saxony, he was Elector of Saxony, Grand Duke of Lithuania, King of Poland, and Imperial Vicar. He had 1 son with his wife Christiane Eberhardine of Brandenburg-Bayreuth and from 365 to 382 children with his numerous mistresses.

5. King Sobhuza II (c 1899 -1982)

He was the King of Swaziland. It is thought that he fathered 210 children from 70 wives.
