Stephanie Leigh Ruhle is a famous American business and political journalist who is known for her work at the MSNBC network where she appears as the anchor of the business program ‘MSNBC Live’. She also serves as the co-host of the weekly business show ‘Velshi & Ruhle’ alsongside co-host Ali Velshi. Ruhle spent several years of her career serving with Bloomberg Television where she served as a managing editor, news anchor and Bloomberg News’ editor-at-large.

Ruhle spent a major part of her early career in the banking sector, beginning as an intern at Merrill Lynch. In 1997, she started working a Credit Suisse and later became the Vice president at Credit Suisse First Boston, serving at the company for 6 years. In 2003, Ruhle started serving at Deutsche Bank and rose to position of managing director of the Global Markets Senior Relationship Management division, serving at the bank for eight years, spending a total of 14 years in the finance industry.

Ruhle began her media career with Bloomberg L.P.’s ‘Bloomberg Television in October 2011 where she served as an anchor and managing editor. She served as the host of the investment trading show ‘Inside Track’ with co-host Erik Schatzker, with whom she also hosted ‘Market Makers’ in 2012. She also hosted ‘Bloomberg GO’ with David Westin. She also served as an editor-at-large of ‘Bloomberg News’. Ruhle became the first journalist to report on the 2012 JPMorgan Chase trading loss caused by London trader Bruno Iksil. Ruhle hosted and produced the documentary ‘Haiti: Open for Business?’ and appeared in the 2015 short film titled ‘Shark Land’. She served as the co-chairperson of Women on Wall Street committee.
