Kim Victoria Fields is a famous American television actress and director who gained nationwide recognition for her portrayal of Dorothy “Tootie” Ramsey on the long-running sit-com ‘The Facts of Life’ that aired on NBC for 9 seasons from 1979-1988. Fields also appeared as Regina “Regine” Hunter on the popular Fox network sitcom ‘Living Single’ that aired for five seasons from 1993-1998. Fields was born on 12 May 1969 in New York City, New York, USA as the daughter of actress Chip Fields and her first husband. She is the step daughter of her mother’s second husband Erv Hurd. Fields has two siblings, sisters Alexis and Jere Fields who are also actresses and was raised along with them in Los Angeles, California. She is of African-American Ethnicity and was one of the most successful female African-American (or colour) child artiste in history. Fields has Jamaican ancestry.
Fields completed her primary and secondary education and graduated high school in 1989 from Burbank High School, Burbank California in 1986 where she was an office employee and baseball manager and acted in several school plays.
