How did Coyote Peterson start his YouTube Channel ?

In the spring season of 2009 at age 28, Nathaniel Peterson went with his one-year-old daughter to a botanical garden in Cleveland.  He was catching some frogs and showing it to his kid, when other children came to look for frogs. At that the time, he saw a snapping turtle at the bottom of the pond. He dove in, came back up with the snapping turtle and showed them the beauty and features of the turtle, much to the amusement and interest of the spectators, as his girlfriend and others kept clicking away.

Coyote Peterson who was already working on a movie project, then decided to make a reptile show on YouTube, which became Breaking Trail and then rechristened as Brave Wilderness. It was the right time, because apart from Man vs Wild, there was no show on presenting animals and wildlife. Steve Irwin had passed away and Jeff Corwin had transitioned into making cooking shows.

As the show became successful, a couple of partners got involved and with more funding, the show became more popular and stronger with the audiences.
