One thing that puzzled viewers was the red colored hair Gi-Hun chose to wear towards the end of the last episode. If you are wondering why he did so, there is a reason behind it

The qualifying round for contestants are in the form of  blue and red cards. Looks like most contestants including Ghi Hun chose blue. Contestants are asked to wear blue, or more precisely turquoise blue, the ones who rule over them are dressed as red.  No wonder, why  Gi-hun  chose red, because he is now playing the role of the dominant, all set to take the clandestine world down.  The color red also symbolizes masculine energy in Korea.

Foreshadowing in Squid Game

Another interesting part of Squid Game is the foreshadowing of events, especially the deaths. There is a case of foreshadowing throughout the show. Each character who escapes or leaves a person whom they trouble or get troubled by, also meet their death in the same fashion.
