  1. Bugatti La Voiture Noire

Over the years, Bugatti has consistently been at the top in the list of the most expensive cars. From the time of its launch, the brand has been the favorite of the rich, famous, and powerful. This time it is no different! With a whopping price-tag of around $18.67 million or around INR 130 crores, the Bugatti La Voiture Noire is the most expensive car of 2020.

This wondrous piece of advanced machinery and style made its debut at the Geneva International Motor Show last year. The name itself is quite elegantly minimalistic, i.e., La Voiture Noire meaning The Black Car.

This new luxurious play-toy from Bugatti comes with torque of 1,181 pound-foot and 1,510 of horsepower that allows it to gallop from zero to 60 mph in just over 2.4 seconds. Its W-16 quad turbo engine offers a peak speed of 260 mph.

The Atlantic Type 57SC art deco designed classic car is one of the most prized and sought after cars around the globe. It was conceptualized by Jean Bugatti in 1934. It may be noted that just four ‘Atlantic Type 57SC’ were manufactured by the company. One vanished during WWII, while the rest three are with their respective owners. If found, it is estimated that the lost Type 57SC will be worth over $95 million!!

  1. Pagani-Zonda HP Barchetta

It is no shock that an exotic vehicle will find its way into this list. It is priced at an incredible $17.4 million or around INR 125 crores.

Created by Horacio Pagani from Pagani Automobili, the renowned sports car manufacturer from Italy, the Pagani-Zonda made its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2018 held at West Sussex in England.

At around $12.9 million or around INR 91.8 crores, the Rolls Royce Sweptail comes in at third spot in this list.

The car was conceptualized after a special order placed by a patron of the brand. The patron was especially fond of the RR cars from the early 1900s as well as several modern and classic yatchs. The patron and now owner of the RR Sweptail has placed the order for this incredible luxury car in the early 2010s and it took over 4 years for the company to conceptualize the design and produce it for the loyal customer.

There is not much to say about the engine and other machinery that drives this deluxe beast; it is top of the line as comes with other RR cars. Its attractive and distinctive features include its graceful tapering design with sweeping lines, a seamless roofline, a stylishly declining waist-rail, and a unique swept tail. The interior has light and dark color schematics with open-pore paldao and lots of buffed-up macassar ebony. An extensive Passarelle with illuminated glass linings are observed instead of backseats. There is also a shelf for hats with the name Sweptail embossed on it as well as many other luxuries.

The design of this new model, which will have a limited release of just 10 cars, is based on a modern interpretation of the ground-breaking EB110 on the basis of the Chiron series. We all know that at the time of its launch the EB110 was one of the most amazing and fastest supercars in the world.

The Centodieci gets its power from a finer adaptation of the powertrain of Chiron. It has an 8-litre engine with an unbelievable 577 bhp. It can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just under 2.5 seconds. The top speed in this car has however been electronically restricted to 379 kmph. It is a known fact that the top speed of Chiron is 420 kmph.
