Lady Gaga has offered a reward of $500,000 for the return of her dogs – whose names are Koji and Gustav – with no questions asked, according to her representative. An email address for tips, KojiandGustav@gmail.com, has been set up. The singer is currently in Rome to film a movie.

On Wednesday night, the dog walker Ryan Fischer, was walking the dogs , Koji, Miss Asia and Gustavo, when a white Nissan Altima pulled over and two men exited from the vehicle and demanded him to turn the dogs over to them. When the dogwalker didn’t relent, one  of them, a  suspect armed with a semi-automatic gun shot the dogwalker at around 9.40 PM,  all of this happened in 1500 block of Sierra Bonita Avenue

French bulldogs can cost thousands of dollars. A similar incident happened in San Francisco, when three men beat a woman and stole her gray French bulldog puppy named Chloe,

It is not known whether Lady Gaga’s pets were targeted because of her celebrity status, or whether it was a chance – or planned – attack, because of the breed of dog involved.

French bulldogs are enormously popular and, in much demand,, but they are notoriously hard to breed. They require artificial insemination and the physical features of the dog – a large head and shoulders – mean they usually have to be delivered by Caesarean section.

The breeding costs show why these dogs can be so expensive, ranging from $2,000-$10,000. Yes, some French Bull dogs can go up to $10,000 too.

They are stocky, compact dogs with a friendly, mild-mannered temperament. They are the second most popular registered breed of dogs in the Uk and the fourth in the US.
