Harris hosts a daily daytime show called “The Faulkner Focus” and another show named “Outnumbered.” She also has a primetime political show called “Town Hall America with Harris Faulkner.”

Harris Faulkner was born on October 13, 1965, at Fort McPherson in Atlanta, Georgia. Her father, Bobby R. Harris, was a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army and an Army Aviator.

He served three tours in Vietnam and was stationed at the base when Harris was born. As a child, she lived in various places, including Stuttgart in West Germany.

Her mother, Temple Shirley Harris, was a homemaker. Harris Faulkner has one sister, Annisa Lynn Harris, who is married to Michael R. Buchanan.

Harris Faulkner started her career at LA Weekly, where she wrote business articles for $50 each. She began her TV career with an internship at KCOP-TV in Los Angeles, doing small tasks. Then she moved to Greenville, North Carolina, to work as a reporter and anchor at WNCT-TV.

From 1992 to 2000, Harris worked as an evening anchor at WDAF-TV in Kansas City. While there, she was harassed and stalked by a former acquaintance from North Carolina.

Next, Harris worked at KSTP-TV in Minneapolis–Saint Paul as an evening anchor. She left in July 2004.

Harris joined Fox News in 2005. She was a correspondent for the revival of “A Current Affair” until it was canceled in October 2005.

Harris Faulkner anchored her first solo network newscast, Fox Report Weekend, from 2011 to 2017. She also filled in for Shepard Smith on Shepard Smith Reporting and for Martha MacCallum on The Story. Harris made regular appearances on the late-night satire show Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld before he left. Now, she appears on his weeknight show Gutfeld! and sometimes co-hosts The Five.
